Boot loader goes boom
Got my grubby little hands on the final release of Fedora Core 2 (thank you, BitTorrent!), and it looks good. Of course, the Windows XP install with which FC2 is sharing a harddrive is now horked.
It's good to be a gangsta, or not.
UPDATE: What do you know--the Windows XP install is completely broken now. Booting from a Windows XP install CD doesn't even give an option to repair the current installation.
Whoops.
It might be a good idea to back up any crucial info on a Windows XP install before attempting a Fedora Core install, which you should of course do anyway.
On the bright side of things, Flatline will now be a Linux-only rig. Freedom! ¡Libertad! Etc.
UPDATE AGAIN: Looks like this is biting a lot of people. The problem made Slashdot.
