Sorry for an OS update announcement post, but since this has been getting an insane amount of press lately...

Apple has finally patched the HelpViewer security issue:

Security Update 2004-05-24 delivers a number of security enhancements and is recommended for all Macintosh users. This update includes the following components:

HelpViewer

Updaters are available for 10.2.8 as well as 10.3.3. Happy patching!

Update: Hmmm... Someone at Apple does not know what day it is? :)
