The Visible iMac

Some people have been wondering what exactly is taking up all that space beneath the LCD on the new iMac. Some people even go so far as to blame it on the internal power supply and that if they had just used a power brick like the cube did, all would have been well. What's behind all that white? Well here you go.
While the power supply is entirely beneath the screen, so are about 2 inches of the logic board and the downward firing speakers. Looks like there is an air inlet here as well. Had apple not used that power supply, they would have saved what looks like about an inch and a half off of the bottom, and people would have had to deal with a big nasty power brick. Looks like a good trade off to me.
